ExoClick is an established PPC (pay-per-click), free-to-join affiliate program for webmasters, website and blog owners looking to monetize their web property. Having been around for awhile, ExoClick has developed a solid reputation as a reliable, forthright means to make money on the Internet. There are only a handful of advertising networks on the web that almost entirely avoid being accused of some sort of shady business practice at some point in their existence, and ExoClick is one such network. Our review of the existing ExoClick reviews reveal a distinctly positive perception of ExoClick, from both publishers/affiliates as well as advertisers--both reporting a profitable experience.
ExoClick offers a wide selection of ad formats, showing clearly that they think outside of the proverbial box when it comes to website monetization, as well as how to generate product and service interest for advertisers, and nice CTR (click-through rate) for publishers/affiliates.

We are firm believers in the diversification of ad formats given the precipitous decline in people clicking on standard banner ads over the last few years. While overdoing one's site monetization is something every publisher/affiliate should be concerned with, webmasters, website and blog owners who are trying to make money online should be equally converned with making money. That being said, a certain percentage of online users have a reflexive aversion to any sort of advertising not displayed to them as a standard banner. However, if your site has what a visitor to it is looking for in terms of content, not only will your site visitors tolerate novel ad formats, they are likely to click them for that very reason.
The above paragraph is meant to preface the potential value of ExoClick's array of non-standard ad formats to your web property. In addition to offering standard text and banner ads, ExoClick offers popunders, splash ads, instant message ads (which are sort of like a combination of an anchor ad and slider ad format), interstitial (in-between page-view) ads. ExoClick also has a new--as of the date of this review--direct linking format that helps your site, and the advertisements on it, look far more editorial in nature, in that they can be inserted into your content and made to appear like a standard hyper-link.
OUR REVIEW
The ExoClick dashboard (user control panel) is extremely basic and streamlined. The creation of an ad unit is done by way of an easy-to-use drop-down menu. From this menu, one selects the site for which they are creating an ad unit, the ad is named so that you can keep track of it, the type of ad is chosen. The ExoClick text ad format is fully customizable, allowing one to choose not only the size but various color options. Lastly, you then pick the category from which you would like ads to appear.
The category choices when creating an ad unit are fairly limited, and it is unclear why so many more category choices are available when adding and categorizing a site to one's ExoClick account, as there are when creating an ad unit for that site. The only available categories we had to choose from via our dashboard were: Adult, Entertainment, Gambling, Games, and Torrents/Streaming. If more category choices than this are available when creating an ad unit, they were not made available to us during our test period.
We couldn't get the splash or interstitial ad formats to work, but this is far more likely to be our fault than ExoClick's, as we tried them on a site with ad code from a different network whose code tends to conflict with other HTML/Javascript. Otherwise, we experienced nothing out of the ordinary: Load time for the units was good, the appearance (aesthetics) of the ads were nice, no malware was present; and, most importantly, the ads got clicked: Our eCPM (earnings per 1000 impressions) averaged to exactly $.97. Which while not something that made us spill our margaritas, jump out of our chairs and do the, "yyyYYEAAAHH MONEY!" dance, is better than a lot of networks out there.
ExoClick pays and pays on time: Weekly, when reaching the low $20.00 pay-out threshold through PayPal; monthly by way of wire transfer.
Customer service? Very good. We made a total of 5 test inquires and all were replied to inside of 48 hours. Answers to our questions were acceptably thorough. We are sort of kicking ourselves for not making the time to inquire with ExoClick about the above mentioned category options, or if there was anything on their end possibly causing the splash and interstitial formats to not work; so, hopefully one of you will let us know how it goes on your site(s).
Overall, we too have a positive impression of ExoClick. After our 30-day test period, we can happily report that this free way to make money on the Internet is self-evidently legitimate; and, should prove to be a profitable affiliation for webmasters, website and blog owners to make money with their web property. We can objectively recommend ExoClick.
