OUR REVIEW:
Stating that FindItQuick is a relative unknown is not to say that FindItQuick is a 'small' network. In fact, their search network currently serves over 2.5 billion impressions per month. They keep their affiliate base high quality, opting for fairly well trafficked sites; but, are more than willing to accept sites that appear to have potential. This willingness to allow sites that have obvious potential is a novel idea in the online industry: Most of the time, networks require a certain amount of impressions (the number of times your site pages are viewed/loaded) per month to be accepted into the program, and/or, a certain dollar amount reached in a specific amount of time in order for the publisher to be eligible for pay-out, and similar such restrictions buried in the Terms of Service fine-print of less transparent networks. This is not the case with FindItQuick, and this transparency is something which affiliates will find appealing, as it bleeds into the rest of FindItQuick's Standards and Practices.
FindItQuick makes regular updates to their platform, improving both the dashboard (user control panel) and navigability, as well as adding new ad formats on a consistent basis. The most recent addition of their "slider" ad unit looks good, and should prove profitable for publishers. Most publishers would recognize this "slider" ad format as an "anchor ad": This ad format appears attached to the bottom of one's monitor screen (just like our toolbar at the bottom of your screen if you have Javascript on your machine), and is always above what is called the "fold" (the point at which one's site visitors must scroll to view more page content). It is small enough to not be an annoying or intrusive ad format, yet large enough to get noticed. The anchor ad format is vastly the less irritating 2nd cousin of the popup, and people do indeed tend to click it.
FindItQuick also offers a nice in-text ad format; but, as of the date of this review, this in-text format must be inserted into the <HEAD> of the document in order to function properly. We bring this to your attention as many people using a website builder do not have access to this aspect of their page. We should note that in a recent correspondence with FindItQuick, this is an issue they are aware of and working to resolve.
In addition to their Slider/Anchor and in-text ad formats, FindItQuick offers a widget that one can scroll-through to find relevant information, as well as a contextual text ad product that will 'learn' your pages and display the most relevant advertisers from their database. They also offer an XML feed. All of FindItQuick's ad formats are highly customizable to fit the look and layout of your page(s).
The reportable down-sides to FindItQuick are these: They are a CPA as well as a CPC network, and affiliates/publishers have no way of knowing what percentage of the ads they are displaying for FindItQuick are going to pay by way of pay-per-click or cost-per-action (when someone buys something or some related action after clicking your link). We have never liked this kind of thing too much and hope they change it in favor of either allowing publishers to choose their own remuneration structure; or, and at the very least, indicating which advertisers have chosen which pay structure. The second reportable downside: the EPC (earnings per click) vary wildly with nothing self-evident that indicates why. Publishers/Affiliates are an informed bunch these days with a lot of options: We feel it would behoove FindItQuick to evolve a bit in this regard.
That being said, FindItQuick pays and pays on time, on a net 45 basis. Payments can be sent by Paypal, company check or deposit in your account based on your choice. The pay-out threshold is a low $25.00. You can also earn lifetime commissions with their Referral Program; the stats tracking for which is solidly average, providing basic information for total number of referrals as well as one's total earnings from them which can be broken-down by date. If there is a single tertiary thing we would change about FindItQuick, we--given that we are professional marketers that need as much analytic data as we can get our hands on-- would add in-depth click tracking to the referral program, indicating unique as well as repeat clicks to one's referral link.
FindItQuick's customer service is superb: All of our inquires were answered the day we made them with some of the most in-depth and forward-thinking replies we have ever received from any affiliate program. As most publishers, affiliates and partners will attest to, getting inquires answered and answered well the first time we make them is virtually priceless. What does your time cost?
FindItQuick is also one of the select few affiliate programs that has made it past The Making Money Depot.com's patented, unprecedentedly grueling, "Will they answer more than one question we ask, if we put more than one question in a single email?" test, that the majority of networks fail miserably with. It is refreshing to have experience with an ad network that hires customer service reps with the attention span of a thoughtful human being instead of that of a hummingbird.
Overall, our experience with FindItQuick has been on the excellent end of positive, and believe that they offer a free way to make money with your website or blog that will ultimately prove to not only be a profitable affiliation, but a frustration-free experience. We highly recommend the FindItQuick PPC/CPA advertising network.
