PPC Linking is a PPC (pay-per-click) ad network that was launched in April of 2010. This review was finalized in April of 2011, so it seems that PPC Linking has made it over the one-year hump that is the standard benchmark for whether or not an ad network will experience any sort of longevity on the web. The Making Money Depot.com has had several delightful correspondences with Jack Getter, President of PPC Linking, and we can truly say that we have never communicated with a more passionate, upbeat, forward thinking individual in this industry, that is also
keenly aware of making their publishers happy.

As of the date of this review, PPC Linking claims a publisher base of over
620,000 unique web properties. If true, this is no small feat for a first-year
network, and can likely be attributed to their very intuitive (easy to
understand and use) dahsboard/user interface, terrific customer service, quality
of their ad products; and, lest we forget, on-time payment processing.

Advertisers will find the $25 minimum deposit very nice, and can be assured
that PPC Linking is on-top of any click fraud, which is usually an issue for
new ad networks. Whenever we test a recently launched ad network, one of the
first things we do is test that network's click-tracking system to be able to report
whether or not whatever mechanism they have in place is sound. All eight of the
clicks we performed were captured by the PPC Linking system.

The dashboard is streamlined, navigation within it is obvious, and should pose no problems for new publishers. Upon logging in, one is presented with easy-to-understand options to create a "desktop ad unit" (a standard IAB size text or graphical banner, as well as in-text ads), or WAP ad unit (ad units directed towards wireless devices). From this same page, one can restrict and manage particular advertisers, access each of their ad unit statistics and profitability data; manage payment information, view referral information, alter password and profile; and, access the PPC Linking support ticket system.

Creating an ad unit is a breeze. Simply click that option, name your ad unit,
then select your size and format. Choose from "banner only," "text only," and
"text/banner" combinations. PPC Linking also has a nice in-text format: One
can choose whether or not to display images in those units (PPC Linking refers
to the image-based in-text ads as "catalog ads"). One is also given the option
to 'float' their banner/text ads to the top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left,
bottom-center, and bottom right of the page. These 'floating' ads follow the
scroll of the page, and convert (get clicks) at about 25% better than standard
'static' banner and text ad formats. One can also choose the ads to be
content-based; or, one can enter their own keywords that will govern which ads
are displayed in the units. All ad formats have a user-friendly "preview" mode.

Integration is equally easy: Simply install the code that is generated after making
your selections, where you would like the ads to appear. We experienced no
'bugs' or oddities with the code; and, it did not appear to conflict with any of the other code we were using on our pages. Click and impression tracking does appear to be in real-time.

As professional marketers, PPC Linking has one of the things we like to see that less than 1/4 of all ad networks have: A transparent click-tracking system for referrals. Not only do they have a system in place, it is as in-depth as any publisher can hope for; showing unique as well as repeated hits to one's referral link in the previous 24 hours, 14 and 30 days; last 12 months, and all-time. The total number of both advertiser and publisher sign-ups within the time period one selects is clearly displayed, as are the earnings statistics from both advertisers and publishers
that signed-up for PPC Linking with your referral link. Revenue share is a
respectable 65% as of the date of this review.

PPC Linking pays via PayPal or check--one sets-up their payment options
through that feature of the dashboard. The pay-out threshold is a low $25.00,
and one can raise a withdraw request at any point their account reaches this
amount. Payments are processed on-time, every time within 24 hours of the
request on standard business days. PPC Linking even tends to be able to
get payments made within 24 hours of processing on weekends, which is nice.

Customer service? Second-to-none and on-the-ball. All of our test inquires
were not only replied to on the day we made them, most were responded to
within an hour: Professionally, cordially and inquisitively.

There are not too many things we would change about PPC Linking. However, we would like to see them explore a wider-range of ad formats; and, the EPC (earnings per click) are low. PPC Linking appears to be taking a very measured and conservative approach to the rate at which they are increasing their advertising fees; which, while understandable, will limit the rate at which webmasters with high-value sites, and therefore many options, will be willing to use their products.

None the less, we could not recommend PPC Linking more, have high-hopes for them, and believe you will find a pleasant, and profitable, affiliation with this fine ad network. Click here for The Making Money Depot.com's interview with Jack Getter, President of PPC Linking.
